Bacon and Cheddar Chopped Salad

Sure, you can celebrate International Bacon Day (September 1st) with bacon for breakfast; but why not extend your love of bacon later in the day with this Bacon & Cheddar Chopped Salad, a delicious choice for lunch or dinner?


Serving Size: 4

6 cups chopped romaine lettuce

2 cups chopped red cabbage

1 cup diced red bell pepper

1 cup diced green onion

1 cup shredded sharp white cheddar cheese

1 cup cooked bacon, crumbled

1/2 cup olive oil

1/2 cup balsamic vinegar

1 tsp Dijon mustard

2 cloved garlic, minced

1/2 tsp agave or maple syrup

1 tsp Italian seasoning

1/2 tsp kosher salt

1/2 tsp black pepper


  1. Add all salad ingredients to a large bowl.
  2. Add all dressing ingredients to your Whiskware Dressing Shaker and whisk together. Pour dressing over salad and mix well to combine.
