Gingerbread French Toast

Gingerbread spices and rum extract combine in a recipe that is dangerously delicious—perfect for your next holiday family meal, when everyone is ready and willing to celebrate and indulge.


Serving Size: 4

1/2 cup milk

2 eggs

1 tablespoon white sugar

2 teaspoons rum extract

1 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

1/8 teaspoon ground ginger

4 slices white bread

1 tablespoon butter, or as needed





  1.         Add milk, eggs, sugar, rum extract, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and ginger to your Whiskware™ Egg Mixer and shake until well blended. Pour egg mixture into a bowl and dip each bread slice, turning to coaT both sides.
  2.         Melt butter in a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add bread slices in a single layer and cook until golden brown, about 3 minutes per side.


TIP: Garnish French toast with extra cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves before serving, if desired.
