Don’t like plain raw nuts? Try roasting your own with olive oil and sea salt. They’re simple to make, you can use any type of nuts, and you can easily alter the salt to the exact proportion you prefer. Here’s how:

Ingredients

Serving Size: 1/4 Cup

1 pound nuts of Choice

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon sea salt

  1. Preheat oven to 350F. In a bowl, toss together nuts, oil, and salt.
  2. Spread nuts evenly on a heavy baking sheet and roast for 15-20 minutes, stopping to stir after 10 minutes. Nuts will be ready when you smell a nutty aroma; be careful not to let them burn.
