2 cups buttermilk
1 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/4 cup cornmeal
3 tablespoons ground flaxseed
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
2 ripe pears, diced
1/3 cup chopped pecans
Pure maple syrup

Lightly grease and preheat a griddle or large skillet.
Add egg and buttermilk to your Whiskware™ Batter Mixer and whisk together. Add flour, oats, cornmeal, flaxseed, brown sugar, baking powder, and baking soda to egg mixture and shake until just combined.
Pour rounds of batter onto griddle or skillet. Add pieces of pear and pecan to each pancake. Cook until golden, flipping once.
Serve topped with additional fruit and nuts and pure maple syrup.
