We can thank the Irish for a refreshingly green and much-needed holiday in March. Traditionally, St. Patrick’s Day is celebrated with parades, festivals, and the wearing of green. We’ve come up with a few edible ways to start off your celebrations right—all in the form of delicious, easy-to-make St Patrick's Day pancakes that will surely bring you luck.

1. Irish Pancakes

  1. Begin by putting all ingredients for your favorite pancake mix inside the Whiskware™ Batter Mixer, add a couple drops of green food coloring, and shake it up.
  2. Using the green batter, pour five large pancakes on the griddle (or as many as you would like).  When fully cooked, remove them from the griddle.
  3. Stack the green pancakes on a plate.  Put some whipped cream on top of the pancakes and add your favorite breakfast cereal marshmallows on top as shown in the video.  Add syrup and enjoy!

2. Rainbow Pancakes

  1. Begin by putting all ingredients for your favorite pancake mix inside the Whiskware™ Batter Mixer and shake.
  2. With your freshly mixed pancake batter, pour some into the Whiskware™ Pancake Art bottle, add a couple drops of red food coloring, add the mini BlenderBall® and shake.  Repeat the process with orange, yellow, green, blue and purple food coloring.  You should have six bottles of different colored pancake batter.
  3. On the griddle, pour two pancakes of each color about 3 inches in diameter.  As the pancakes finish cooking, place them on a plate in a rainbow shape starting with the red pancakes to the orange, yellow, green, blue and purple overlapping as you go.
  4. Put some whipped cream at the ends of the rainbow to act as clouds at the end of the rainbow.  Add chocolate gold coins to give your rainbow pancakes some Leprechaun treasure!

3. Leprechaun pancakes

  1. Begin by putting all ingredients for your favorite pancake mix inside the Whiskware™ Batter Mixer and shake.
  2. With your freshly mixed pancake batter, pour one large pancake (about 6-7 inches) and two very small pancakes (about 1 inch).  Once they are fully cooked, transfer them to a plate.
  3. Use the big pancake as the leprechaun's face and the smaller pancakes as his ears.  Use chocolate chips to make the eyes, an apple slice to make the mouth, green grapes as his hat and nose, and mandarin oranges as his orange beard, orange eyebrows orange hair coming out of his hat. Enjoy!
