Classic banana pancakes get a boost of protein and flavor plus added crunch with pecans and cinnamon in the mix. Feel free to get creative and pair other fruits with the tasty pecans; fresh strawberries and raspberries work well, or try dried cranberries for an unusual tangy twist.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
- 2 sliced bananas
Directions
- Add egg and milk to your Whiskware Batter Mixer and whisk until smooth. Add flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and pecans and mix until well combined. Heat a large, lightly-greased skillet over medium heat. Pour batter to form pancakes, then add a few banana slices to each pancake. Cook until pancakes bubble on the top and edges, about 2 minutes. Flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes until golden brown. Serve topped with additional pecans and bananas and pure maple syrup.
