A traditional Malaysian treat, Roti Jala, or net bread, is best served alongside curry or stew. The lacy pattern appears complicated to make, but is actually quite simple and fun using your Whiskware, Batter Mixer.

Ingredients
- 1 3/4 cup flour
- 1 1/2 cup skim milk
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tablespoon butter
Directions
- 1. In your Whiskware Batter Mixer , mix all ingredients except butter. 2. Heat a pan over medium heat and grease it with butter. 3. Moving quickly, lightly drizzle the batter onto the pan in a circular motion to form a lacy, net-like pattern. Cook until bottom is golden brown. 4. When the batter is cooked all the way through, remove from heat. Fold Roti Jala in half twice, forming a triangle or quarter circle.
