Waffle Ice Cream Sandwiches

What’s the best holiday anyone ever dreamed up? National Ice Cream Day, of course. We’re not entirely how all these random food holidays, like National Ice Cream Day, originated—and frankly we don’t care. We just want to sink our teeth into a homemade Waffle Ice Cream Sandwich and celebrate!

Ingredients:

Directions

  1. Step 1.

    Mix milk, flour, salt, sugar, eggs, oil, vanilla, and baking powder in your Whiskware™ Batter Mixer and shake until smooth.

  2. Step 2.

    Pour batter onto waffle iron and cook until golden brown. Set waffles aside.

  3. Step 3.

    Empty the tub of ice cream onto a cutting board and slice ice cream into 1-inch thick slices. Sandwich an ice cream slice in between 2 waffles, then trim ice cream as needed to fit the shape of the waffles.

  4. Step 4.

    Empty the tub of ice cream onto a cutting board and slice ice cream into 1-inch thick slices. Sandwich an ice cream slice in between 2 waffles, then trim ice cream as needed to fit the shape of the waffles.

  5. Step 5.

    Roll the edges of each ice cream sandwich in your topping of choice (topping will stick to exposed ice cream). Enjoy!
