Adding cocoa powder to the basic French toast egg mixture turns the classic French toast into something chocolatey and delicious.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 cup white sugar
- 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/8 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 4 slices bread
Directions
- 1. Add the milk, eggs, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt to your Whiskware Egg Mixer and shake until smooth. 2. Heat a lightly buttered skillet or griddle over medium heat. 3. Dip each slice of bread into egg mixture until well soaked, about 20 seconds per side. Place in pan, and cook on both sides until no longer shiny in the middle when cut in half, about 3 to 4 minutes per side.
Recipe Note
WHIP THIS UP WHEN: Traditional French toast is too predictable; instead, add a boost of chocolate for a breakfast or brunch to remember. DON'T FORGET: The Whiskware Egg Mixer whips up perfectly frothy eggs in a flash, and features a built-in egg cracker, a removable egg separator, and minimal mess.
